In mid-November 2022, L’Auberge de Buellas opened its gourmet produce shop in Corgenon, a hamlet of Buellas. 60m² to tempt your taste buds.
On the busy Route de Trévoux D936, which links Bourg-en-Bresse to Châtillon-sur-Chalaronne, Boutique de L’Auberge is the new meeting place for local epicureans. Part delicatessen, part takeaway caterer and part showcase for local produce, it is the perfect place to discover all the gastronomic delights of L'Auberge de Buellas.

The menu includes daily takeaway dishes, available in the boutique during opening hours, or in self-service lockers 24 hours a day. These include salmon risotto, fish or beef lasagne with tomato, filet mignon with mustard and purée and Bresse chicken with cream and morel mushrooms, to name but a few. There is also a varied assortment of starters in glass jars, country terrines, seafood rillettes and generously filled focaccia sandwiches. The chef's farmhouse bread and puff pastry buttered bread are firm favourites.
When it comes to the desserts, Christophe Favre has designed a mouthwatering chocolate-praline mousse, a delicious and surprising "Paris-Bourg-en-Bresse" creation, and a host of tiramisus and crumbles. Easy to pick up and take away, this catering solution is a delightful way to enter the gourmet world of L'Auberge de Buellas, as well as raising its profile on a busy thoroughfare.
A showcase for our local producers
On the delicatessen and drinks side, the Favre couple have chosen to provide a display area for their local producers. The shelves are lined with the products you'll find at L'Auberge de Buellas: Poule beers, Patrick Font fruit juices, Dagobert coffees from Châtillon-sur-Chalaronne, wines you can sample at L'Intimiste Restaurant, Lili de Bresse soaps to be discovered in our hotel rooms, and then there are the spices the chef uses in his cooking, together with Valrhona honeys and chocolates. Once again, L'Auberge de Buellas unveils and shares its world with you.
